Go abroad and make the most of it: Intercultural Workshop
A stay abroad gives you the chance to dive into another culture, which can be very fascinating and enriching. At the same time, cultural differences can also be challenging – as you face new surroundings, have to communicate in another language and adapt to different study or work environments.
The workshop – conducted in English – will help you to broaden your skills and key competencies in order to be successful both in adapting to life in a new country and your course of studies/internship abroad.
Learn more about and reflect on:
- Which influence does culture have on our perception, communication and actions?
- How can I deal with irritations in intercultural encounters and the feeling of culture shock?
- What are the expectations of my stay abroad, which resources do I benefit from and what might be challenges?
As the workshop addresses international students in Weimar as well Weimar students planning to go abroad, both groups can benefit from a variety of perspectives on the topics.
Workshop language: English
