The tutorial will give an introduction to Unity 3D, a cross-platform game engine used by different professions like game makers, artists and architects to create interactive and challenging games and immersive VR experiences with the help of VR glasses like the HTC Vive
Students will be introduced to the interface of Unity 3D and will get support in working on topics like: Models, Materials, Textures, Terrain and Environments, Light and Cameras, Collision, Prefabs, Particle Systems, Audio, Animations and the Timeline feature to give a few examples
Students from every degree programme can apply for the course, but people who are partaking in the modules ”Immersive Essays” and ”Think, Play, Create. Architecture in Computer Games between Theory and Art” will be endorsed to partake in the tutorial |
