Since 1919, Bauhaus School has influenced countless art and design school all around the world. In many languages and many countries, teachers have been teaching those basic design rules to the students considering Bauhaus. Even after 100 years, those rules are still up-to-date but tools are developed. Beside analogue design methods, the students are supposed to improve their computational skills for professional life. First of all, the aim of this course is to provide basic beneficial informations to the students in many different sort of software. Secondly, with this knowledge helping them to improve their design ideas in digital environments.
This course aims to help participants to improve their knowledge in contemporary digital tools with weekly courses and block modules during the Winter Semester 2019-2020. Different sorts of professional digital tools in 3d, photography, sound and Video softwares will be introduced to the participants such as Autodesk 3dsmax, Recap, Arnold, V-Ray, Adobe AfterFX, Unity3d with many useful plugins. Using these tools every candidate will be developing a conceptual design tasks during the course. This tasks can be architectural projects, animation, motion graphics, immersive and conceptual two-dimensional or three-dimensional as well. Participants will be experiencing their design pieces in Virtual and Augmented Reality environments. Each student should present a conceptual project at the end of the semester for the Bauhaus exhibition to get credit points. |
