The process of articulation
We are looking at different articulations of what I call the "process of articulation" -- the process of articulating a theory, a thought, an idea, a relation. This process is both material (it involves objects such as diagrams) and practical (it consists of more or less coordinated actions in space and time). The leading idea of the seminar is to investigate how this process contributes to the articulated content itself. We are reading texts from philosophy, cultural theory, and the philosophy of science. |
