Audiobaukasten 2
Having learned and practiced the basics of digital audio recording in the first course we now turn our attention to workflows and practices in a radio studio and when editing audio. It doesn’t matter whether it’s for your own productions or as part of the editorial work at Bauhaus.fm: Professional results demand an intimate knowledge of your workplace, the studio. Taking a caller on-air, recording a band in a radio setting or connecting additional DAWs to the studio: Various recording and broadcasting situations require you to know how to configure patchbays, audio interfaces and mixing desks. But what’s the level that you should broadcast at and what does the brickwall limiter do to the signal?
Audiobaukasten 2 requires you to regularly take part in Bauhaus.fm’s programme and staff meetings and to produce various music-programmes, features and jingles.
