animation projects with different techniques and a lot of passion.”
A series of workshops and an open laboratory for the art of analog animation - Stop Motion.The temporary academy opens it´s doors for the first time at Bauhaus University Weimar and besides acquiring new skills in the field of stop motion animation, it will be about creative activism in the social media. Together with an activist from the international movement of climate justice, we will develop a
short animation for a campaign.

5.02.2019 Introduction ”Mobile Animation Box"
Participants will focus on simple and
creative art of analogue animation that doesn't consume a lot of time and everybody can make it without a budget.
During the workshop we will design your own character (clay - plasticine), learn principals of animation, how to make a loop and animate it.

Introduction - Txana Bane ...creative activism in the social media”:
In this interdisciplinary 3 days workshop, together with Txana Bane (son of a tribe chief) of the people of Huni Kuin - who live in the Brazilian forest on the border to Peru.
We will develop a concept for a short animation for his campaign // project.
The indigenous people buy land: Living Gaia e.V. collects donations for land purchase in the Brazilian jungle to protect the indigenous people of the Huni Kuin [in Acre]. Due to the election results in Brazil, the flora and fauna diverse Amazon and minorities, especially indigenous tribes, are under massive threat.
Private property is to be used to enable them to be preserved and protected.
The goal is to work as a team and create a short support animation video for a the campaign.
