The city and us: from situation to intervention
What can we change through intervention - now, in practice, in our daily surroundings? In this seminar we want to experience, understand and question urban space with different methods. We want to work with creative methods of the perception and exploration of space not in theoretical but in practical terms. What do we see looking at urban space and what stays hidden from our views? How public, how open is public space after all?
Taking these questions as a starting point we aim to reflect on our findings and a possible way of reaction. In order to do so we will work on a collective intervention, which intervenes in our urban every day context, changes it or turns it inside out. Therefore we want to work with our own bodies, with images, objects and words.
The seminar will be held by the students initiative Kollektiv Raumstation. We target to work with a flat hierarchy and responding on the needs of those participating and create actions collectively. In the seminar we want to apply those aspirations onto our work with participating students. #BottomUpCity #BottomUpUniversity #SeminarVonGleichWeitOben

The seminar is open for students from every faculty. It will take place in three block courses. |
