Die Verhexung des Geistes
Sind wir überhaupt in der Lage, freie Entscheidungen zu treffen, oder ist nicht unser gesamtes Entscheidungsverhalten per se manipuliert? Handeln wir nicht viel zu oft anders, als wir es bei klarem Überdenken getan hätten? Wie können wir Konstruktion, Wahrheit und Lüge auseinanderhalten? „Sprache ist Verhexung des Geistes“, schreibt Wittgenstein und meint damit, dass Menschen manipulieren, sobald sie kommunizieren.
Das Fachmodul richtet sich an jene, die die Erfahrung gemacht haben, dass Manipulation manchmal der einzige Weg ist, um ans Ziel zu gelangen. Er richtet sich aber auch an jene, denen dieser Begriff Gänsehaut macht und die Strategien der Manipulation erkunden möchten, um sich vor ihr zu schützen. Ziel des Fachmoduls ist eine künstlerische Arbeit, die sich mit Wirkungsweisen der Manipulation beschäftigt. |

The bewitchment of the mind
Are we really in a position to make choices or isn’t our entire behavioral per se manipulated? Far too often we behave differently than we originally wanted. How can we distinguish construction, truth and falsehood? "Language is bewitchment of the mind," writes Wittgenstein, meaning that people manipulate when they communicate.
This module is aimed at those who have made the experience that manipulation is sometimes the only way to achieve ones goals. It is also aimed at those getting goosebumps when hearing the term “manipulation” and would like to explore strategies of manipulation in order to protect themselves from it. The aim of the module is the presentation of an artistic work, which deals with modes of manipulation. The module is held in cooperation with Martin Schied’s module focussing the electronic side of manipulation. |
