Researchers have to fulfil quite a lot of different tasks within a limited amount of time. Therefore time management that works is needed in order to get results in good time.
In this workshop, you will learn the essentials of time- and self-management. Furthermore, you will work with typical time planning tools. Especially we will talk about the question of how to combine different tasks in different areas of research and private life.
Topics of the workshop:
- Strategies and tools for time- and self-management
- Defining and realising priorities
- Working with motivation – how to overcome demotivation and procrastination
- How to recognize and deal with time sinks
- Research and ”private” life: how to successfully bring them together
