TRANSFORM RAILWAY TRAVEL INTO ART - A Course in Railway Aesthetics and Mobile Field Research - Einzelansicht

How does your creative process changes while working on the road e.g. in a train? How can you react to the
aesthetics of the train infrastructure? This course follows two main objectives. It provides students with access
to railway infrastructure and employee meetings that are otherwise out of reach, equipping them with the tools
and Bauhaus methods needed to conduct field and artistic research on board of moving trains. Second, it aims
for a hands-on public exhibition of this research, directly enriching the students' professional portfolios. This
course takes place as cooperation with the University of Bergamo, Italy and Université de Picardie Jules Verne,
France.

During the workshop phase, students from both Universities will in Weimar.
