The aim of this Master’s Thesis is to create a scenic room and costumes for the piece “Quartett” by Heiner Müller by applying scenographic and staging techniques and approaches. The stage itself is movable and therefore temporary: The piece about the relation of the gender can be performed all over the world. The space of the theatre is abstract, consisting of a free-standing element in which the audience and stage are combined. The relation of audience and piece is more intimate and therefore provides an intensive approach on reflection.
