The vis\u00adi\u00adtor tricks his reluc\u00adtant hosts into shar\u00ading their ingre\u00addi\u00adents by claim\u00ading he can make an entire pot of savory soup using only a mag\u00adi\u00adcal stone. He does hap\u00adpen to men\u00adtion, how\u00adev\u00ader, that the soup could use a bit of gar\u00adnish or an extra car\u00adrot\u2026 if they hap\u00adpen to have one lying around. Intrigued by the promise of mag\u00adic, the towns\u00adpeo\u00adple are hap\u00adpy to donate their stashed reserves. Soon enough a rich and steamy soup is put together.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around the globe, iter\u00ada\u00adtions of the fable vary.
