Based on the absurd aesthetics of micronations Patrick explores in his diploma project the visual representation of power as well as the historical and political meaning of national symbols. In a second step he also founded his own virtual micronation «Cloud Cuckoo Land» setting up an embassy in Weimar, in which everyone can apply for citizenship and receive a passport as confirmation. more
