Maldonado, in the book, appears as a detective in search of a trail of weapons, killers, and spaces that has inhibited a critical ecological mode of operations. Using CLUEDO&#8217;s logic, the board environment restages Maldonado&#8217;s critique about modernism, allowing the players to navigate the space playfully. The figures represent the archetypal figures that appear in the book. The weapons represent specific modes of operating and sense-making that inhibit a radical reframing of the environmental problems. Each of the weapons, killers, and spaces that appear is also related to their dialectical opposite, indicating the possibilities of other ways of doing things.
