Katrin Steiger was the inaugural student selected for the new exchange with MICA, The Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. There she studied at MICA's Fiber Department for one semester. Back in Weimar Katrin came up with the M/I/C/A AND ME exhibition to share her work and experiences with other students. She developed all displayed artwork during her time abroad, held a lecture for fellow students and answered questions.
