Augmented Reality Lab 12 Januar 2021 / Week 9 Instructor: Silvana Callegari, MFA

At the beginning of this session, we will have a lecture about the latest history of Augmented Reality, what can and cannot be done today with different software and tools for implementing AR environments. The second part of the session will be a workshop on the Spark AR platform, which will let us create different kinds of AR scenes (face, space, hand, and image recognition). Spark AR might not be the widest and richest platform for AR, but it is perhaps one of the most platform agnostic, as it works on any modern OS or mobile devices, and allows for applications created within the program to be uploaded to platforms including Facebook and Instagram.

Please have the software Spark AR Studio downloaded and installed on your computer, as well as the the Spark AR Player application installed on your smartphone.
