Mixing the cities
Istanbul is the city of mixed culture. It has something from almost every culture and city. I want to work on the word "mixing the cities".
This gonna be a video collage which changes the place of the same areas of a movie from Istanbul between a movie from different city (probably Weimar or Berlin).
I will divide the both of the video to squares (probably more than 20) and i will compare the black-white (shadow and brightness) values each other. The squares which has the same or approximate will change their places with the other.
For the result of the project there is not any certain idea. Because it is so free and experimental. Duration of experiment, may be i can change the way of the project.
I am thinking to get the videos first, then i will work on the processing or After effects script.
