Leihordnung

If you decide to borrow equipment the Leihordnung (German only) applies.

Making Reservations

There is a list of items eligible for reservation on the door of room 208.

  • You can only make short-term reservations (one time slot at a time)
  • If you want to make long term reservations you need to come during the opening times, and ask for permission

Renting Things

  • To rent something you MUST provide a liability Insurance (Haftpflichtversicherung) that covers rented equipment. The (Haftpflichtversicherung des Studentenwerks) is not sufficient.
  • You can rent things for exactly one renting period (Monday to Wednesday) or (Wednesday to Monday).

If you want to rent things for longer periods, you need to come during the opening times to make a long-term reservation.

Returning Things

Each item that is for rent will have a wiki page, with a short checklist, that you should look at before returning things. Make sure, everything works just the way it did, when you borrowed it.

Improving the Wiki

This page contains a list of items that can be borrowed from the GMU. We rely on your help to complete this list. Renting items is free, but you are required to create or improve the wiki page for the item you are renting.

Check the Howto to find out how to name the wiki-page, and what kind of info should be there. Check the Unicorn page for an example of such a page.
