Rental Wed 14:00 - 14.30
Reservation Wed 13:30 - 14:30
GMU Ausleihe is open on Wednesdays 13.30 - 14.30 during the course period.
Unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions for rentals/returns outside of these times.

Rentals

  • Equipment can be reserved and rented for '1 week' at a time.
  • Requests for rental extensions must be done in person during opening times.
  • Priority: 1. GMU classes / presentations - 2. GMU students / staff - 3. Students at the Faculty of Media.
  • Rented equipment is NOT insured with Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. We strongly recommed you to provide a 'liability insurance' (Haftpflichtversicherung) that covers rented equipment. The (Haftpflichtversicherung des Studentenwerks) is not sufficient.

Returns

  • Everything must be returned in the state it was borrowed in.
  • Damaged or lost equipment must be reported immediately to darsha.hewitt [at] uni-weimar.de .
  • If reserved equipment is not picked up on date specified, reservation will be canceled.
  • Items that are returned late or incomplete can lead to the withdrawal of renting priviledges.

Leihordnung

If you decide to borrow equipment the Leihordnung (German only) applies.
