Artistic Research of cryptogamic botany (Moss, Lichen, Algae, Fungi, Ferns) with a special focus on transient and long-lasting interspecies connections in the environment. Künstlerische Forschungen zur kryptogamen Botanik (Moose, Flechten, Farne, Algen, Pilze) und zu festen und vorübergehenden Beziehung zwischen Spezies in Ihren Umwelten. Besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Verbreitung von Flechten im urbanen Raum, der besonderen Beziehung zwischen Algen und Pilzen, darüber hinaus werden Wurzelknöllchen und Mykorhizza-Beziehungen ((Pflanze Bakterien Pilze), Pflanzengallen, Misteln und das Zusammenwachsen von Pflanzen bei Pfropfungen beobachtet und Wechselwirkungen und Adaptionen an Umweltbedingungen in Exkursionen beobachtet werden. In Labor und Feldversuchen sollen Kulturexperimente auf selbst gestalteten Habitaten initiiert und Versuchsanordnungen (z.B. Einsatz von Biosensorik) konstruiert werden. Insbesondere soll die Flechtenansiedlung an einer Gebäuderuine am Rand von Weimar in den Blick genommen werden. Projekte von Studierenden werden praktisch und theoretisch unterstützt.
