====English description====

Wunderwirtschaft combines the analysis of complex interrelations between economic and cultural systems with the application of this knowledge into an innovative artistic practice. Students work with and transform the concepts and symbols of retail trade, corporate identities, cottage industry.
They conceptualise and develop substantial bodies of works with regard to professional exhibition practice beyond the scope of the university.

====Kursinhalte====

Inhalte:

– Geschichte und Praxis der Unternehmenskulturen bzw. deren öffentlicher Erscheinungsbilder / Corporate Identities: Beschäftigungsfelder und deren wesenhafte Codes, Designformen, Inhalte.
Umfang: insgesamt: ca. 10% / Plenum: ca. 15%
(der Umfang beschreibt den Workload der Studierenden im Verhältnis zur Gewichtung im Plenum, 5-10% des Plenums sind für Organisatorisches vorgesehen)

– Strategien künstlerischer Beschäftigung mit den Schnittmengen, Parallelen und Überschneidungen zwischen künstlerischer Arbeit und Unternehmenskultur.
Umfang: insgesamt: ca. 10% / Plenum: ca. 15%

– Diskursgegenstände und Ausdrucksformen künstlerischer Praxis: öffentliche Identitäten, Arbeit (Arbeitsumfelder), Dienstleistungen; Extrapolationen der Grundmotive "Austausch" und "Transaktion".
Umfang: insgesamt: ca. 10% / Plenum: ca. 15%

– freie individuelle und/oder kollektive Projektarbeit, Besprechung im Plenum
Umfang: insgesamt: ca. 70% / Plenum: ca. 50%

Lernziel:

– Befähigung zur Analyse komplexer Zusammenhänge und Wechselwirkungen zwischen ökonomischen und kulturellen Systemen, spezifischen Unternehmens- und individuellen Arbeitskulturen (z.B. Einzelhandel, freie Berufe) im Hinblick auf deren funktional-symbolische öffentliche Erscheinungsbilder ("Corporate Identities")
– Übertragung des gewonnen Wissens in eine innovative künstlerisch-gestalterische Praxis durch Appropriation, Dekonstruktion, Abstraktion, Be-/Verarbeitung, Synthese
– konzeptionelle Entwicklung und technische Umsetzung eines eigenständigen und umfangreichen künstlerischen Werks größeren Umfangs im Hinblick auf spezifische (universitätsexterne) Ausstellungskontexte (Kunstvereine, Museen, Galerien) und deren Produktionsbedingungen, Vermittlungs- bzw. Vermarktungskonzepte.
