==Beschreibung==
In jüngster Vergangenheit ist die Aneignung von archivarischen Materialien und Methoden als künstlerische Strategie zu beobachten. Dabei nehmen KünstlerInnen verschiedene Rollen ein, wie etwa die des Archivars, Historikers, Sammlers oder Erzählers. In dem Prozess berücksichtigen sie nicht nur Materialien, sondern auch deren mediale Repräsentationen. Ausgehend von der Untersuchung archivarischer Methoden (anhand von Archivbesuchen, Neudefinition des Archivs gegenüber der Sammlung), sollen bestimmte Methoden und/oder Materialien zunächst angeeignet werden, um dann in neue künstlerische Sprachen und Formen übersetzt zu werden. Erprobt werden dabei die Organisation von Dingen sowie deren mögliche Selbstorganisation.
