New page

The Biogames Website is created as a platform for online gaming, combining the digital and the biological world. Through our respective game settings we enable players to interact in real time with living microorganisms. The microorganisms are observed through a microscope in a laboratory where their behavior is passed on to a computer program that translates their shapes and movements back to the game. In course of the Biogames project of the Faculty of Media Environments at Bauhaus University Weimar we design different experimental gaming set ups for encountering and studying the behavior of microorganisms.
