===Concepts===
The idea of this project is greatly influenced by the book I read in 2019, Fooled By Randomness written by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Then I started to pay attention to observe how life events happened without any explanation or in a form of chaos where we only hold little control of our life even though we've been told everyone is special. However, these broken to pieces of memory emotions somehow can be free from spacetime.

===Visual Settings===
The randomness in life and its journey is expressed by being forced to one direction, and surrounded by the fragments of cinema trailers. These fragments imply the probability when the insignificant meet significant.

* Black space was chosen because the black edge of the quad object is compatible with the white. Otherwise, I really want to go for the white space like the weapon room in the movie Matrix.

* All the video clips on the quad game objects in position, rotation, time frame point are randomly chosen and created through the scripts.
<br />
Each time that building this application will render different fragments in a discrete position and rotation to illustrate the concept of randomness. The following clips are just a few of the samples.
# The restriction of access to the Digital Bauhaus Lab and the VR devices due to the pandemic, this work is not able to be tested in the VR environment. I'd like to take another course in the future to get the implementation in more depth.
However, these broken to pieces of memory emotions somehow can be free from spacetime.

===Visual Settings===

* All the video clips on the quad game objects in position and rotation are randomly chosen and created through the scripts.
<br />

===Randomness Generator===
Each time that building this application will render different fragments in a discrete position and rotation to illustrate the concept of randomness. The following clips are just a few of the samples.

===Visual Settings===

* All the video clips on the quad game objects in position and rotation are randomly chosen and created through the scripts.
===Visual Settings===
The randomness in life and its journey is expressed by being forced to one direction, and surrounded by the fragments of cinema trailers. These fragments imply the chance when the insignificant meet significant.

Environment is set in an open field with surrounds of moments represented by pieces of images, videos, sounds.
Credits: 6 [[ECTS]], 4 [[SWS]]<br>
Date: Thursdays, 15:30 – 18:30<br>
Venue: the web<br>
First Date: Thursday, 07.05.2020, 15:30

==Description==
'''Critical VR Lab I – VR Hugging Anyway''' is a beginner module that offers an Introduction to the Unity game engine. The whole course will be taught online. Due to the Corona Crisis students won't be able to work in the Digital Bauhaus Lab and use our VR System. However, participants will be introduced to Unity through video tutorials, accompanied by PDFs and it will be possible to communicate through online meetings and individual consultations.

'''The course will be taught in two phases:''' <br>
In phase one participants will be introduced to an overview of the Unity interface and different techniques (Lights, Skyboxes, Prefabs, Timeline, Animation). At the end of phase one, students will have created an experience with Unity and documented it on our GMU Wiki-Page.
In phase two the whole class will meet together in VRChat, which is a free-to-play Massively Multiplayer online Virtual Reality Social Platform. Participants will be able to interact with each other in virtual worlds through the use of Avatars. Together, we will think about artistic concepts (Performances, Flashmobs, Video Documentation) that will be played out within VRChat and documented on the Wiki-Page.

The course emphasises on artistic and opposing ways of working with Virtual Reality concepts. It’s aim is to establish individual approaches to VR, a challenging medium which offers artists new possibilities for expression and intercultural communication, especially at times of the Corona Crisis which creates new challenges to the way we interact with each other.

==Recommended Requirements==
No previous knowledge of Unity or other 3D software is needed, but applicants should have access to the Internet, a Computer and Headphones.

==Criteria for passing==
In order to successfully participate you will have to develop and document your own project on the GMU Wiki. Also, complete the exercises and comply with the submission deadlines

==Communication throughout the semester==
First Date: Thursday, 07.05.2020, 15:30

==Description==

==Recommended Requirements==
No previous knowledge of Unity or other 3D software is needed, but applicants should have access to the Internet, a Computer and Headphones.

==Criteria for passing==
In order to successfully participate you will have to develop and document your own project on the GMU Wiki. Also, complete the exercises and comply with the submission deadlines

==Communication throughout the semester==
