:File:VID_20210511_195555.mp4

The rain was just over when I haded out for my little walk. The grass was wet and the air fresh.

My object of ‚awareness‘ was a tree seed which was laying just next to me.

I was jumping ove the little river and in these days the flower pedals are falling and swimming in the river. They formated some type of seam around the floating wood which was nice to look at.

The tree had a strange red color to it, as it would be getting much different nutrients than the others. it stood lower in the riverbed.

I liked very much the swan and the dugs. It seems he is always there marking this territory. He is only missing a companion.

:File:VID_20210511_200114.mp4

I liked toughing the wet gras and observe how the water drops rolled down the grass calms. The was drops look like little jewellery.

About the object: I liked that it had some seeds in it still, which were falling out as I walked my way. Seeds are made to be carried away from the tree spreading the plant. I was another carrier for a moment.

At the end of the walk may little object lost it‘s shape when I was holding it to tight in my hand and i put the rest into the gras

idea 1

first idea:
to place sensors like the plant (Lunaria) moving in the wind and recording it's sound

second idea:
to record the sound of the dug feet in the water, and to understand better how their feel and sound when they walk on gras

idea 2

The idea here is to build a tool that acts as an sensor to enhance and feel the the atmoshpere of the Ilmpark. The sensor becomes something like an extension of the body and allows the wearer to use it during his walks.

Extension of the sensor: metal, plastic, composite materials
Problems: How can I intensify the sensor output?
What is our atmosphere?

Nature changed throughout history and humans have been adapting to it ever since. Nature and human are muturally creating each other. With the change of our natural habitat our perception changed. What is still our natural atmosphere?

A selection of artifacts, taken from our natural habitat, are acting as auditive sensors. Their different ‚natures‘ reveal a specific accoustic enhancing their different materialities.

spec.: Piezo disc sensors, sponge, wood stick from the Ilmpark, e-waste from Weimar

Nature changed throughout history and humans have been adapting to it ever since. Nature and human are muturally creating each other. With the change of our natural habitat our perception changed. What is still our natural atmosphere?
A selection of artifacts, taken from our natural habitat, are acting as auditive sensors. Their different ‚natures‘ reveal a specific accoustic enhancing their different materialities.

Problems: How can I intensify the sensor output?
to place sensors like the plant (Lunaria) moving in the wind and recording it's sound
second idea:
to record the sound of the dug feet in the water, and to understand better how their feel and sound when they walk on gras

Extension of the sensor: metal, plastic, composite materials
Problems: How can I intensify the sensor output?

At the end of the walk may little object lost it‘s shape when I was holding it to tight in my hand and i put the rest into the gras
to place sensors like the plant (Lunaria) moving in the wind and recording it's sound

to record the sound of the dug feet in the water, and to understand better how their feel and sound when they walk on gras
The idea here is to build a tool that acts as an sensor to enhance and feel the the atmoshpere of the Ilmpark. The sensor becomes something like an extension of the body and allows the wearer to use it during his walks.

Extension of the sensor: metal, plastic, composite materials
How can I intensify the sensor output?
