Status of Open-Access-Transformation at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar

What you need to know as an author:
When submitting your articles as a corresponding author, please include your Bauhaus University Weimar email address. This will ensure eligibility for funding through Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
If you belong to more than one eligible institution, you must choose one institution at the time of submission, which will then cover the costs.
Project DEAL aims to establish CC BY as the standard license for open access publishing. CC BY is the freest type of license, allowing you to grant the greatest possible reuse opportunities for your work and ensuring that you are credited as the author of the original work.
Before publishing Gold Open Access articles with the DEAL publishers or with Taylor & Francis, you must send an application to the Open Access Publication Fund. Partial financing (currently at most € 2,000 per article including VAT) can then be granted. Any amount beyond that must be covered by the authors‘ own budget or third party funds. In order for the university library to handle invoice processing, authors must declare a cost unit (Abrechnungsobjekt) for the share they cover themselves. For further information, please read the Open Access Publication Fund’s funding criteria.
Please look for more important information for authors in the DEAL Konsortium FAQ or on our Open-Access-Website
