Dr. Horst Henrici | Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Horst Henrici, born 1969, studied law in Bremen, Würzburg and Thessaloniki.  He passed his first state exam in Würzburg. After completing his legal clerkship and the second state exam in Hamburg, he obtained his Juris Doctor.  In 2002 he worked as in-house legal counsel for the Brandenburg University of Technology in Cottbus, where he later became responsible for academic and student affairs and where he taught labor law until 2012. In 2005 he transferred to the Technische Universität Berlin where he was initially responsible for admissions and enrolment.  From 2009 to the end of 2014 he was the head of Department I - Student Services. 

Dr. Henrici is a member of the working team of the Chancellors of Germany's Universities "Academic Staff", "Professional Development" and "Facility Construction at Universities", a member of the Association for the Promotion of European and German Law of Sciences and the Administrative Board of TÜV Thüringen e.V.

For a second period until September 2026, Dr. Henrici is the spokesman of the university chancellors of Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt at federal level.

Dr. Henrici is teaching at the TU Berlin in the M.A-programme of Science Management since 2020.

The Thuringian Higher Administrative Court elected Dr. Henrici as a associated honorary judge for the disciplinary senate (federal / state) of the Thuringian OVG for a term of five years effective from 2021, January 1st.

For the period from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2026, Dr. Henrici was appointed honorary judge in the Thuringian labor court by the Thuringian State Labor Court.
