The overhaul of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar website is part of the communication project »Triple Jump«. Based on the central idea of »Experiment.Bauhaus«, the project aims to develop and apply new materials which improve contact to prospective students. The name »Triple Jump« refers to the three central goals of the project: to produce new print material for prospective students and applicants, redesign the Internet platform and create a new exhibition stand.

Our new print materials include completely redesigned faculty brochures and degree programme flyers. The new materials were enthusiastically received at the University Information Day in March 2012. The prospective students in attendance responded positively to the colourful, bilingual brochures and flyers. We invite you to take a look for yourself.

Many other courses now also have their own print materials that clearly summarise relevant and interesting information for prospective students.

The beta version of our new website went up on January 3, 2013, with the release of the Beta 2.0 version. This ended the parallel operation of both websites. Our editors and programmers have invested tremendous energy and creativity in redesigning the site. New features, an improved navigation structure and interactivity offer a great deal of space for discovery.

2013 also brings constant improvement of the website. Now, just in time for the welcome ceremony on 17 October 2013, the beta version of the website for mobile devices is online. The website is designed for smart phones and tablets and tailored to the needs of mobile-device users.

Since 2014 all students of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar have the opportunitiy to present their current projects and works in the digital projekt showcase »EXPERIMENT.Bauhaus«.

An interdisciplinary project team is developing an exhibition stand for the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar for use at higher education fairs. The team is focusing its efforts on improving the visitors’ interaction with the exhibition stand and the project platform by means of a tablet computer. The interplay of space, lighting and information will offer visitors an impressive introduction to the university and all that it has to offer.

You can find background information about the fair in Bauhaus.Journal OnlineOverview of the educational- and trade fairs at which Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is represented

We greatly appreciate the hard work and commitment that everyone has put into this project.
