The new Special Coronavirus Ordinance comes into force in Thuringia on Tuesday, 26 January 2021. It supplements and extends the existing ordinances, the measures are valid until 14 February 2021:

Please note:

• From 26 January 2021, it will be mandatory for people aged 15 and over to wear a medical mask (surgical mask) or a mask with the FFP2, FFP3 or KN95/N95 standard in shops, public transport, at the doctor's office and in therapeutic facilities, and at religious/confessional gatherings.
