Presidium Simplifies Pandemic-Compliant Use of University Rooms
The Presidium has decided on the following simplified procedure for pandemic-compliant use of university rooms and the preparation of infection-prevention plans, which will come into effect on 19 October 2020:
The current Bauhaus-Universität Weimar General Hygiene Plan applies to every room used at the university. Each of the individual faculties is responsible for ensuring that the hygiene plan and regulations are adhered to.
If there are any deviations from the hygiene plan, these must be presented and explained in a written infection prevention plan. In addition to this, compensation measures must be made clear and ensure that hygiene standards are maintained (see »General Information« as well as »Establishing Infection Prevention Concepts« in the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar General Hygiene Plan) Modified infection prevention plans must be submitted to the Service Centre for Security Management. The Service Centre for Security Management and the Staff Council are responsible for the approval of modified plans. Once the infection plan has been assessed, it will be submitted to the Presidium for final approval. The Presidium’s decision will be communicated to the applicants by the President’s Office.
