The interim financial aid for students who have experienced particularly severe financial hardship due to the pandemic has been extended for the month of September. Affected students in Thuringia can apply for financial aid from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research from Tuesday, 1 September 2020, at www.überbrueckungshilfe-studierende.de. Depending on proven need, between 100 euros and 500 euros can be paid as a non-repayable grant
