Autodesk offers a portal for design and engineering students. Learners and teachers can access professional tools on the international community site. In addition to free downloads of the latest Autodesk software, forums, tutorials, a design library and other information are also available.
Important note: The Autodesk Student Version software combines all the features of our professional licences, but has a print lock that prevents the software from being used for professional, commercial or for-profit purposes. The Autodesk Student Version may not be used in the classroom or laboratory and may not be used for commercial or for-profit purposes. Autodesk Student Software annual licences do not entitle you to product upgrades and cannot be upgraded to a commercial licence.
The registration process is as follows:
- access https://www.autodesk.de/education/edu-software/overview
- Select product
- Click on first steps
- Register (with the university e-mail address)
- Accept the terms of use
- you receive an e-mail and can activate the registration
