The Sixth Thuringian Quarantine Regulations (in German) will apply from 3 February 2021. Thuringia is thus implementing the nationwide stricter regulations for people returning from so-called »virus variant areas«. With the new ordinance, a quarantine period of 14 days is again obligatory for those arriving from risk areas.
In addition, the regulations currently in force (Third Special Containment Ordinance, Second Basic Infection Protection Ordinance) will be extended until 19 February 2021.
