The Equal Opportunity Office establishes constitutional guaranteed equality of opportunity for men and women at the university. Therefore equal opportunity officers and consultants suggest guidelines and programs, being updated and implemented by their collaborators, which should lead to an increase of quantity of female employees in scientific and artistic fields.
They pay attention to ensure all university members an equal development potential pursuant to their qualifications and social characteristics.
The equal opportunity officer is supported by an Equal Opportunity Advisory Board. The members of this board are deputies of the faculties and central university facilities as well as two student deputies.
The Equal Opportunity Advisory Board suggests the equal opportunity officer and one deputy from full-time professors and academic staff for the Senate to vote for a period of three years.
