The BRS funds only those expenses which are not completely or partly funded by third parties. This is why we need evidence of which expenses are funded by third parties. A letter (or an e-mail) by a funding third party may be applicable as such an evidence.

The Bauhaus Research School only subsidizes expenses for arrival and departure as well as for the accommodation. Conference fees were not part of the grants and can be financed by third parties like the chair.
Yes, you may. However, you cannot be funded parallel immediately by the DAAD and the Bauhaus Research School. As soon as you have received a funding commitment or rejection by the DAAD, you are obliged to inform the Bauhaus Research School.

Yes, you may. You will be funded for the first 5 days (max.) of your stay.
The funding is valid exclusively for the trip you have applied for. If you must completely give up on it, the funding commitment becomes invalid (in case of changed travel data see Issue No. 22). The funding is in principle not transferable.
Payment happens after your stay, after you have handed in the original receipts of your travel and accommodation costs (invoice, tickets), your bank details (IBAN, BIC) as well as a short report to the Bauhaus Research School.
