Since 2007, the Bauhaus Research School has been the contact point for doctoral candidates at the university. For 10 years we have been supporting scientific and artistic researchers at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar on their way to their doctorates and we are looking forward to celebrating this anniversary with you. From July 4 to 7, the series of events »[dis]solving boundaries« offers a platform for academic exchange and the development of creative ideas for the future support of junior researchers at the university. We look forward to welcoming you to our events!

For the first time, there will be an exhibition and a research walk focusing on doctoral research as part of the »[dis]solving boundaries« series of events. With 24 projects, the exhibition provides a varied insight into the diversity of doctoral projects in all disciplines at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Subsequently, the "Research Walk" will take you across the campus to 4 stations where you can explore doctoral research directly on site. Among others, fluid-flow capillary glasses, housing research, vandalism and damage in Wikipedia and the CableBot project will be presented.

Ph.D. Exhibition: 04.07.2018 | 16:30 Opening
... until 08.07.2018 in the University Library, Steubenstraße 6/8, lower foyer

Research Walk: 04.07.2018 | approx. 17:00

What defines borders and what will they be used for both now and in the future? The 4th »Young Bauhaus Research Conference 2018« from 5 to 6 July 2018 will address this question, inviting artists, designers and scientists from all disciplines to engage in an interdisciplinary discourse in the various conference formats. The conference will be broadcasted live on the conference website!
