The BauhausTrack, the new qualification program for junior professors and postdocs, starts at the same time as the Tenure Track Program. The program combines individual counseling, workshops and mentoring. It enables participants to prepare themselves specifically for the diverse requirements of a professorship or a comparable position.

Starting in 2022, the Bauhaus Research School offers individual coaching for doctoral candidates, postdocs and junior professors. The coaching is tailored to your needs and can support you in developing new perspectives and strategies for projects or in dealing with challenging situations or changes.

Here you will find detailed information and register for a coaching appointment.

We are pleased to welcome two new coaches to our team in 2022: Caroline Allen will mainly advise doctoral candidates from the faculties of Architecture and Urban Studies, Media and Civil Engineering as a coach. Mathew Lloyd will work intensively with doctoral candidates from Art & Design in particular.

The Pro.Doc Doctoral Council, would like to co-join forces along with the doctoral candidate community of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar by organizing an interdisciplinary colloquium that would benefit the community, enrich knowledge and open, multidisciplinary collaborations. For this purpose, a digital board has been opened to brainstorm ideas for themes/topics and strategies for a successful colloquium. This Padlet intends to connect all doctoral candidates to ideate and collaborate on the next Interdisciplinary Doctoral Colloquium in 2022/2023!

Anyone who would like to contribute is welcome to do so here:
