The Thuringian Competence Network for Research Data Management (TKFDM) warmly invites you to the Thuringian Research Data Management (RDM) Days on June 18 and 19, 2025. Under the theme »Empowering Research - Tools and Practical Examples from Thuringia« the event will offer two days filled with insights, practical examples, and tools for effective research data management. 

Participants can look forward to presentations on applications such as Overleaf, GitLab, BEXIS2, OMERO, and eLabFTW. This year, all presentations will be conducted in English and the event will be free of charge, taking place online via Zoom.

From 24 to 26 September 2025, Weimar will become a future laboratory for innovative learning and teaching spaces. The joint conference»spacing – Lernen zwischen Räumen.« brings together the ‘Lernraum.Bauhaus’ symposium and the eTeach annual conference under one roof. Two calls for participation invite participants to rethink and co-design the spaces of learning in a creative, critical and visionary way.

In 2026, the eTeach Network Thuringia will once again support teaching and learning projects through two different funding formats. This initiative aims to foster innovation, encourage experimentation with new teaching, learning, and assessment methods, enhance media-rich instruction, and sustainably integrate examples of best practices within the university.

The funding formats are as follows:

Important Dates for Both Funding Formats:
The eTeach contact center will coordinate and assist with the application process and partner placements. Interested applicants must submit an expression of interest along with a rough concept to the eTeach contact point at the University of Jena via nicole.baron@remove-this.uni-weimar.de by July 1.
Final applications are due by September 1.


The Equal Opportunities Office, the Department of Human Resources Development and Health Management, the University Sports Center and the Representative for the Interests of Chronically Ill and Disabled Students invite you to a university-wide Family and Health Day on Wednesday, 4 June 2025. There will be various exercise and health activities throughout the day, some of which you will need to register for. In the afternoon, there will be a colorful afternoon for families on the university campus from 4 to 7 pm.

Take part in the awareness workshop to receive a basic training before doing your first shift as part of the team. As a member of the awareness team, you will be present at important university events, supporting people who feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed, and helping those who experience discrimination or violence.

They need especially people for the SUMMAERY EVENTS (10–14 July 2025).

To support EUA’s work on this topic, a one-year Task-and-Finish Group explored good practice in managing academic careers. Following the publication of this group’s ‘Key principles for attractive and sustainable careers’ this webinar will further explore the key principles and the considerations and practices behind them.
