The Doctoral Council is what you make of it!
The 2025-2027 Doctoral Council will be elected in March 2025. From now until February 11, 2025, candidates can be proposed and submitted!
As a member of the Pro.Doc Doctoral Council, you have the chance to help shape the conditions for doctoral studies: You get to know university life behind the scenes and can give doctoral candidates a voice in various committees (e.g. Senate). By getting involved in the Pro.Doc, you can campaign for issues that affect you and other doctoral candidates and network both inside and outside the university.
You can submit your own candidacy or a nomination for another candidate via this online form. You can find all information about the election here.

The past two years have been very eventful for the Pro.Doc: among other things, we have organised two general assemblies for doctoral candidates, we have contributed to the structural and development plan (StEP) of our university, intensified our cooperation with the German Association of Doctoral Candidates (Bundesverband Promovierende) and networked with doctoral researchers from the Bauhaus4EU Alliance in Tirana. It was great! We wish the new Pro.Doc an equally exciting time!
