Project description

The idea to develop the application initiated from the need to know more about Jena
as a curious passerby. There is desire to know a lot within a short time, to see the visible
that that is hidden behind the curtain facade and the walls of each landmarks.
And Jena is a possibility to make that hidden story and elements to be on the spot
light.

From building to our finger tips we can transfer information just about in a moment.
And In Jena, every day a different group of people come and go or even reside. But
many times the information that is under our nose is hidden within the surface we
look at. Our Project mainly focus on exposing
this elements to our smart phones.

The application will tell our location and important places to see, and upon the
desired spot, the time it is built and who built it. Indicate the architectural style and
the material of the building that was used, areal view and internal view is possible on
the augmented reality. Thus, making the place more interactive and accessible within
a click.

For a person who is interested to learn more, there is an option of finding even maps
and calendars, what is happening now or in the future, what is popular in this specific
site, where to go and etc... As more data is incorporated this all could be a great
city guide and creating a more tight relationship between different parts of the city
to work together.
