Das Buddy-Programm soll Studierende mit nicht-akademischem Hintergrund, die im 1. oder 2. Semester sind, unterstützen. Dazu werden den Junior-Buddys Studierende an die Seite gestellt, die einen ähnlichen Hintergrund haben und als Senior-Buddys Tipps zur Studienorganisation und zum Studienalltag geben können.

Deine Aufgaben:

• Unterstützung bei der Auswahl von Buddys und beim Matching von Junior- und Senior-Buddys
• Unterstützung der Organisation von Workshops
• Koordination der Buddys
• erste Ansprechperson für alle Buddys im Programm
• Hilfe bei der Organisation von Treffen und kleinen Veranstaltungen
• Unterstützung von Feedback- und Evaluationsprozessen

Dein Profil:

• Interesse an Diversität: Leidenschaft für Themen rund um Diversität und Chancengerechtigkeit
• Engagement an der Universität: Motivation, das Campusleben aktiv mitzugestalten und andere Studierende zu unterstützen.
• Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch und Englisch, damit eine Kommunikation mit deutsch- und englischsprachigen Buddys möglich ist
• Zuverlässigkeit, Empathie und Vertrauenswürdigkeit!

Wir bieten:

• Anstellung als Assistent*in (Hiwi) (ca. 10-15 Stunden pro Monat)
• gezielte Vorbereitung, u.a. Peer-to-Peer Training

Seeking DiversityGuide as Coordinator for a Buddy Program for First-Generation Students!

Are you the first in your family to attend university, familiar with university life, and interested in serving as the coordinator and point of contact for buddies in the buddy-program? Then apply now!

The Buddy Program is designed to support students from non-academic backgrounds who are in their 1st or 2nd semester. To this end, junior buddies are paired with students who have a similar background and who, as senior buddies, want to share their experiences and offer tips on organising studies and navigating university life.

Your responsibilities:

• Assisting with the organization of workshops for the buddies
• Assisting with the selection of buddies and helping to match junior and senior buddies
• Coordinating the buddies
• Serving as the primary point of contact for senior buddies
• Helping with organizing meetings and small events
• Supporting feedback and evaluation processes

Your Profile:

• Interest in diversity: A passion for issues related to diversity and equal opportunity
• Involvement at the university: Motivation to actively help shape campus life and support other students
• Language skills: German and English, to enable communication with German- and English-speaking buddies
• Reliability, empathy, and trustworthiness!
