Project description
Unwinding, wrapping, tension and stretching, folding and stuffing - we spent a semester investigating how textile surfaces can be translated into three-dimensional objects. Through pattern constructions, seams and darts, textile materials became space-creating forms. We explored which properties of textiles - flow, softness, strength, formability - can be used for the design of soft products. Flexible shells and stable structures invite visitors to touch and try them out.
