Project description
People rarely travel on holiday alone; a ton—or more—of vehicle mass usually comes along for the ride. Isn’t there a more frugal way to travel without sacrificing comfort?
Grasshopper Module 4.0 explores the intersection of bike‑packing and car / caravan camping, weighing the pros and cons of each travel style.
How can destinations that are reachable only by bicycle be opened up while still providing the comfort of a bed and adequate storage space?
Grasshopper Module 4.0 was developed as part of a self‑initiated project and serves as the spiritual successor to an earlier design.
The bicycle camper’s unique features are its single‑wheel configuration and lightweight construction.
