Project description
Digital Burnout is a photographic exploration of digital power structures.
The digital space is far from neutral. It mirrors societal hierarchies, reinforces inequalities, and is increasingly shaped by platform logic and algorithmic control. This photographic exhibition critically examines digital technologies from a feminist perspective, both as spaces of empowerment and as sites of structural violence.
Positioned between analogue image-making and digital NFT formats, the works on display generate counter-images that navigate the space between selfies and glitch feminism, between visibility and invisibility. They analyze, distort, and intervene — urging us not just to inhabit digital spaces but to renegotiate them actively.
How can photography be used to make digital violence visible? And how can we imagine more just realities — beyond patriarchal and capitalist frameworks?
