Project description
City life... Busy, glamorous, but often lonely. What if technology became a gentle invitation—encouraging us to pause and connect? Come and explore how digital tools can become invitations—to each other, to the place, to local communities and to the joy of being together in the city.
Come and experience
>> UrbanTogetherness Booth:: Summaery2025 Edition!
An interactive, technology-enhanced photobooth designed to foster spontaneous moments of connection in public space. The project explores how simple digital interventions can act as invitations—drawing people in, sparking interaction, and nurturing a sense of belonging.
Installed in local neighborhoods, the booth invites passersby to pause, meet others, and capture shared moments with friends or strangers. A playful and customizable interaction creates not just a photo, but a shared act of participation and memory-making.
Rooted in the belief that technology can invite rather than isolate, the booth becomes a gentle interrupter of routine, a low-threshold anchor for expression, and a playful spark for togetherness.
Location: M18 Garden – Friday to Sunday
>> Friday (all day) – Help us paint a new photobooth background
>> Saturday – Capture your moment and join the living portrait
>> Sunday – Come by for a relaxed community brunch
