Project description
The state of today's society is the result of its history. What has shaped it, moved it, influenced it positively but also negatively? The task of archives is to open up, preserve and make accessible the cultural heritage of a society and to secure this information in the long term. How can we read from archives from the perspective of graphic practice, of experimental work, how can we use and approach them? The focus of this project is on archives, real as well as digital, imagined as well as museal, not yet existing as well as lost. Within the framework of "for other uses" we will visit archives, interview archivists, create archives and design with them.
