Project description
During this seminar, participants had the opportunity to explore the historic building material clay and develop innovative approaches to improve its mechanical, structural and optical properties.
Interdisciplinary teams worked on projects such as foamed clay, liquid clay, reinforcement under compressive stress, ceiling elements and surface finishes. Practical experiments were used to test various approaches to solutions and evaluate them in terms of their suitability.
Special emphasis was placed on the sustainability of the products researched. The aim was to maintain the positive properties of clay (low carbon footprint, skin-friendliness, diffusion openness, etc.) through optimization.
The results obtained will be presented at the Summaery in the form of test samples and information material.
