Project description

-erase- Love gathers documents, processes, and projections from the transcultural exchange with international artists, architects, urbanists, and cultural practitioners who joined us for workshops and lectures over the course of the semester. We have shared multi-perspective knowledge of global modernisms in art and architecture through a decentered and decolonial lens. Love is thereby understood as a relational practice and a technology of transformation that opposes erasure.
To expand the boundaries of the academic space, eraseLove established -erase- Shop, a former bicycle shop in the city, as a space for gathering, discussion, and collaboration.

A project by “Practices and Politics of Representation”, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, “Public Art and New Artistic Strategies” and “Arts and Research”, Faculty of Art and Design on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the 1923 Bauhaus exhibition.
