Project description

In 2021, the Media Art Award will again be held in cooperation with EIGENHEIM Weimar at the annual exhibition of the Bauhaus University Weimar. The Media Art Award is offered annually by the Media Art/Media Design department. All the chairs of the departments submit the best final projects of the past two semesters, which are then compiled into an exhibition in cooperation with students. A top-class jury then awards the prizes. This is an annual highlight of the Bauhaus Universität Weimar's annual exhibition.

The exhibition for the Media Art Award will open at 4 p.m. on July 15, 2021 at EIGENHEIM Weimar, in the historic gardener's house of the Weimarhallenpark in the direct neighborhood of the new Bauhaus Museum. On 16.07.2021 the jury tour will take place and on 17.07.2021 at 2 pm the award ceremony will be celebrated. The exhibition will be on display beyond the annual exhibition of the Bauhaus Universität Weimar, until 31.07.2021.
