Project description
Hannah Uhlmann’s exhibition explores romanticized narratives of rescue and love in fairy tales and their impact on gender stereotypes. She contrasts these narratives with the reality of structural gender-based violence.
Trigger Warning
This exhibition addresses gender-based violence, domestic violence, and femicide. However, it does not contain any explicit depictions of violence, graphic images, or detailed descriptions of acts of violence.
Despite this indirect approach, the content may be emotionally distressing or retraumatizing.
